1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MARBLE Network protocol, applications, or services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

MARBLE Network provides:

A decentralized blockchain protocol
Web-based applications for interacting with the protocol
Wallet software for managing digital assets
Developer tools and APIs

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Wallet Security

You are solely responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys
All activities that occur under your wallet address
Backing up your seed phrase/recovery phrase

WARNING: Lost private keys cannot be recovered. We do not have access to your private keys and cannot help you recover them.

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

Use the Services for any illegal purpose
Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the network
Submit fraudulent transactions or data
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Use the Services for money laundering or terrorist financing

5. Risks

5.1 Blockchain Risks

You acknowledge and accept that:

Blockchain transactions are irreversible
Digital assets are volatile and may lose value
Smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities
Network congestion may delay transactions
Regulatory changes may affect the Services

5.2 No Financial Advice

Nothing in our Services constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Consult appropriate professionals before making financial decisions.

6. Intellectual Property

The MARBLE protocol is open-source software licensed under the MIT License. The MARBLE name, logo, and brand assets are trademarks of the MARBLE Foundation.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR DIGITAL ASSETS.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MARBLE Network, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Zug, Switzerland, in accordance with the rules of the Swiss Chambers' Arbitration Institution.
